For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for health and wellness, and have been drawn to helping others. Seeing them win – whatever that looked like – warms my heart!
But at 16, after finishing my 6th form year, I took the “sensible” route and left high school to complete a New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 6). While I couldn’t have predicted where that decision would lead, it laid the foundation for a career centred on people, leadership and performance.
In the 20+ years following, I built a successful career in corporate sales, which for a long time provided me with a sense of achievement. Until I found myself in my early 40’s feeling lost and misaligned. That was when I started questioning whether the ‘corporate life’ was still for me. I knew I wanted more and I needed to figure out what that meant.
Becoming a certified life coach was something in the back of my mind for some time, however the traditional model of ‘where are you now, where do you want to get to, let’s make a plan’ didn’t align with me.
I was looking for an approach that addressed the whole person; the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of someone’s life. An approach that went beyond goal setting of ‘band-aiding’ and helped resolve the core issues impacting people from living their dream life and finding true balance and happiness.
That’s when I found the Integrative Wellness Academy. I learned about visualisation techniques, neurolinguistic programming, quantum physics, language patterns, releasing limiting beliefs and more! It was the first time in my entire career that I felt completely aligned and that I was finally living my purpose. I can’t express enough how magical that felt!
After becoming an IWA Certified Life Coach, I continued my personal development and designed my unique and proven holistic framework that blends the best of integrative wellness techniques with an achievable and sustainable real-world approach.
I don’t believe that lasting change comes from simply talking about problems. I believe that change happens when insight is followed by action.
My coaching balances compassion with accountability, and combines proven coaching methodologies, practical psychology-informed tools and real-world experience to help clients create meaningful, sustainable change.
I work with people who are:
Everyone’s journey is different; it can be messy, challenging and even rocky at times (I know mine has been!) but if we allow them to, those are the moments we learn, grow and find out feet.
Looking back, every chapter of my journey has shaped the coach I am today. The challenges I’ve faced, the lessons I’ve learned and the people I’ve had the privilege of working with have all contributed to the way I coach and develop individual clients and those attending my corporate workshops.
My clients often tell me they feel understood because I don’t coach from theory alone. I coach from lived experience, professional training, genuine empathy and decades of working with people from all walks of life.
If this resonates and you’re ready to invest in yourself, I’d love to help you take that first step with a free consultation.
